Purpose

To set out the standard terms NSF will use for grant awards to protect charitable funds and beneficiaries.

1. Parties and purpose

• Grant agreement between NSF and recipient organisation; funds must be used only for agreed charitable purposes.

2. Payment and use of funds

• Payment schedule; restricted use; no diversion without written approval.

3. Safeguarding

• Recipient confirms safeguarding policy and named lead for any activity involving children/vulnerable adults.

4. Monitoring and evidence

• Progress reports; financial breakdown; receipts; outcome evidence.

5. Audit and inspection

• Recipient agrees to provide records and permit inspection where appropriate.

6. Suspension and recovery

• NSF may suspend/recover funds if terms are breached or serious risk arises.

7. Publicity

• Any public statements about the grant must be accurate and approved where required.
